Silence on the Palestinian genocide - why
Al Baqi: The Past, Present and Future. The destruction of historical sites in Mecca and Medina. Why?
The Palestinians have lost Arab regimes who are increasingly authoritarian and at the mercy of the US. The non-democratic nature of Arab regimes and their continuing political dependence on the United States - the main supporter of Israel and its settler-colonial project is the only reason they have dumped Palestinians under the bus. Arab regimes are more interested in safeguarding their kingdoms, making peace, and normalizing relations with Israel.
The Muslim Ummah and Global South are knowledgeable of the evils of Zionism and are becoming increasingly fed up with Euro-American imperialism. The Muslim Ummah are ready. They just need Arab leaders, who will not stand in their way, but rather help the liberation struggle of the Palestinian people. The moment is now, and it can start with all Arab states severing ties with Israel.
Arab regimes have betrayed Gaza. It is time to change course.
Words are not enough. UN resolutions are not enough. Official condemnations are not enough. A small trickle of aid is not enough. These are all lip service, empty words, and meaningless actions.
From day one after October 7th, president of Islamic Republic of Iran Ebrahim Raisi who visited all the leader of Gulf state and attended the Gaza summit on November 11th, 2023, in Saudi capital Riyad stressed the importance of Muslim unity in these challenging times and meaningful way to unequivocally sever diplomatic and economic (BDS) ties with the Israeli, recall their ambassador and use oil as weapon to get ceasefire. It has fallen on deaf ears.
Many countries like Brazil, South Africa, Bahrain, and Bolivia have cut official ties with Israel, while Chile and Colombia have withdrawn their ambassadors. Many other countries would support this approach of ramping up political and economic pressure on the US and Israel. If such action is taken, Arab states can move from being a line in the footnotes of history to writing an entirely new book.
Why will the self-interest Arab states not cut ties with Israel?
Since the seven-day war lost by Arabs they fear Israeli military power, including the fact that it is a nuclear power. Golda Meir said: “Arab kingdoms are our first line of defense.” These doom Bedouin regimes do not want to confront the imperial outpost, which brings economic benefits in billions to the illegal monarchies and dictatorial regimes.
What a wonderfully referenced by historian Arnold Toynbee about Arab rulers: "Arab rulers are the henchmen of British colonialism. They all understand that Israel is an imperial outpost of the West, and since then they have calculated that they cannot oppose American power, they have decided to work within these confines, which brings economic benefits as well.”
It has been over six month and the entire month of Ramadan of hardship; the Arab regime must radically transform their thinking and take a bolder stand against Zionist occupying regime and US imperial power.
The Arab monarchies and dictatorial regimes have managed to defeat the uprisings and maintain their power through state violence - including imprisonment, torture, killing, censorship, and total surveillance – it is time for the revolution and demand the fall of these regimes because they do not have any legitimacy.
"Barefoot Yemenis attacked the Crown Jewels of the American Empire - the trade route in the Red Sea and defeated the puppet of the European Bedouin kingdom in Yemen.
