Tough battles on the horizon lie ahead. What can we anticipate in 2025? Year-End Lense - Reflecting on the Past, Strategizing the Future with Clear Focus.
Year-End Lens: Reflecting on the Past, Strategizing the Future with Clear Focus.
As I ponder on writing of my final blog, I have gradually become overwhelmed with sadness.
As the holy Islamic month of Rajab and the Year approach, I extend my greetings from sunny Tampa as I journey back to Allentown.
The month of January has many events to celebrate and, such as the birth of Imam Ali, my birthday, the martyrdom General Qassim Soleimani, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Insurrection, and the inauguration of President Trump.
One important day is January 6th – World Day of War Orphans. This day focuses on plight of children orphaned by, highlighting their struggles and advocating for support and care.
As the late Carter stated, "The US is most warlike nation in the history of the world… The US engages in regime change, has invaded or bomb dozens of countries, and has supported right-wing dictatorships around the world since World War II."
This is a time for reflection on how many children are made orphans by the proxy wars and MIC around the globe by the United States.
Two themes characterized my blog this year: one concerning Zionism and imperialism, and other addressing the history of Zionism and Israel.
I will not engage in discussions about the Jewish lobby, the Christian Right, or Holocaust guilt, as there is extensive literature available online.
One of the significant enigmas of the past year is the issue of Western involvement in Israel’s genocide and impunity.
All I can genuinely say is that the Anglo-Saxon Imperialist Zionist Colonial empire wants to dominate the entire planet.
After a year, people have stopped asking, 'Why is happening?', I have been constantly thinking perhaps even dreaming about this issue, which continues to upset me.
There is something that Western establishments fear more than being implicated in genocide and the whole world can see it: the fear of the burning light of truth.
As we plan our resolutions for the upcoming which may prioritizing our health, diet, exercise, and longevity, we should also consider our responsibilities as stewards of the earth to prevent nuclear war, disasters due to climate change, poverty, and militarism.
The end of the year is a time of celebration in various faiths, but it also provides an opportunity to pause, reflect, make thoughtful decisions about our health, the environment, and the well-being of society as a whole.
As you note down your resolutions, whether for the New Year or for the month of fasting during Ramadan, which begins in three months.
The resolutions should include regular eye examination, doctor's, visit, blood test, colonoscopy, endoscopy, and mammograms, can contribute to long-term health longevity.
The New Year is a time to see the world in its best positive light, also to acknowledge the darkness trials and tribulations. t
Let us reflect on children of Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, and around the have lost limbs, eyes, and have no food or shelter due to wars
This January, take a moment to reflect on the role vision plays in your daily life how taking care of your eyes can bring a brighter and healthier 2025
Think positively, see no evil, speak no evil, and speak positively of all human beings, for they are the creation of the Almighty Lord – Allah.
Message from Speak Up! Silent No More!
The New Year has arrived. The rooftops are still dusted with snow, and the streets are illuminated with twinkling lights.
As 2024 draws to a close, we, as the movement of resistance and solidarity, should reflect with on the progress we have made together toward, combating racism and poverty, and creating opportunity for all.
Observing our young generation on campuses actively advocating for the liberation of Palestine from the River to the Sea is extraordinarily commendable. God willing, the day will come soon. Ameen
I hope my blog has strengthened communities, advocated for systemic change in our broken justice system, end mass incarceration, and stand firm against injustice.
This New Year, we celebrate the spirit of unity, hope, and resilience. Let us take this moment to honor the power of collective action and renew our commitment to building a world where equity and justice prevail.
On behalf of Speak Up! Silent No More! and the Khaku family, we extend our heartfelt wishes of peace, love, and joy for the New Year. If my writing has caused any offense, I sincerely apologize and seek your forgiveness.
Thank you for being an integral part my blog. As we approach the coming year, let us remember martyrs and our loved ones who are no longer with us.
The year 2024 was marked by relentless conflict, with no peace or ceasefire. It was a year of unprecedented calamities widespread poverty, death tolls reaching of thousands, and massive displacements.
This was driven the genocide involving Zionist Israel, resulting in a year of hardship, challenges, and tribulations.
The year also witnessed the Russia-Ukraine war as well as the regime change of Bashar al-Assad orchestrated by the CIA.
The outcome of the election remains uncertain, often described as the “lull before the storm." This phrase a period calm with potentially tumultuous event following.
Is it an "apocalyptic experience" or "wrath" America endures with such devastating storms, earthquakes, wildfires, hurricanes, and flooding from coast to coast.
What does it all mean? As the scriptures of the bible says, “we are living in the day of God’s Judgment.”
Quoting scriptures from the Bible, "Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against. There will be earthquakes and famines in various places, and fearful events and great signs."
The entire world is embroiled and oscillating in conflict and teetering on the edge of nuclear war. What actions can we take before it is too late?
“Our world is a whirlwind:. We are in an era of epic transformation—facing challenges unlike any we have ever seen—challenges that demand global solutions,” said Antonio Guterres, secretary general of the UN,
Tough battles on the horizon. What to expect in 2025?
IPSOS Group, a multinational market research and consulting firm, conducted a survey of 33 countries released on Dec. 11, which found that a sense of unease permeates as people face a "complex and uncertain future" for 2025.
At the forefront concerns was the threat of nuclear war, rendering 2025 a challenging year for humanity.
The question arises: divine retribution and wrath is imminent due our silence? And upon which community will it descend?
God bless you all! Below are some wonderful Sunday readings on. Martin Luther from previous years.
